On April 25, 2015 at 11:56 AM a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook Nepal, claiming the lives of more than 8,000 people and permanently changing the lives of countless more. As the dust settled, the world mobilized to provide relief and help the people of Nepal recover from such a devastating event. There were over 50 inReach devices in Nepal when the earthquake struck, and in the days and weeks following they were used to help coordinate disaster assistance around the country.
